Rules for purchasing and using the pass
  • The pass to the 44th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia is a personal identifier authorizing access to film screenings held at the Helios cinema in Gdynia, Gdynia Film Centre, on the New and Chamber Stage of the Musical Theatre of the Naval Museum in Gdynia, the Consulate of Culture and the Municipal Theatre in Gdynia.
  • The pass does not authorize access to the facility or film screenings taking place at the Festival Centre on the Big Stage in the Musical Theatre in Gdynia.

Sale of Festival Passes

  • The sale of the passes takes place via the website and lasts until 13 September 2019 inclusive or until the sale ends when the pool is exhausted. From September 14, 2019, passes can be purchased only at the festival pass office at the Helios cinema in Gdynia (Riviera Shopping Centre).
  • The payment for the pass must be made immediately after placing the purchase order using the electronic payment offered on the website (DotPay payment). Unpaid orders will be automatically cancelled.
  • The purchase of the pass will be confirmed by e-mail within 4 days from the moment the payment is credited to the Organizer's account.
  • The pass is personal, i.e. it is issued in the name and surname provided on the order form.
  • When ordering the pass, complete all required fields and attach a current portrait photo not exceeding 2Mb, with a minimum size of 400x400 pixels, in PNG, GIF or JPG format, which will identify the owner of the pass.
  • The organizer reserves the right to end the sale at any time without giving reasons.
  • The organizer does not accept the return of purchased passes.

Collecting the pass
  • The purchased pass can be picked up only by the person in whose name it was issued, upon presentation of an identity card or other document with a photo.
  • The pass can be picked up from September 14, 2019 (from 12:00) at the Customer Service Centre located in the Helios cinema at the Riviera Shopping Centre (2 Kazimierza Górskiego street). No duplicates of the passes will be issued.

Rules for using the festival pass
  • The pass is programmed for 20 points (1 point equals 1 film screening). Entry to the film screening will only be possible after prior online reservation of the seat;
  • The pass entitles you to enter all film screenings for the public as part of the 44th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia (also applies to screenings of the Short Film Competition at the Musical Theatre on the New Stage) held at the Helios Cinema, Gdynia Film Centre (at 2 Plac Grunwaldzki), The Chamber Stage of the Musical Theatre in Gdynia, the Consulate of Culture, the City Theatre Gdynia, and the Museum of the Polish Navy, for which the pass holder had previously reserved a place online.

  • The pass does not entitle its owner to enter shows and press conferences.
  • The pass does not entitle to reserve seats for the Opening and Closing Gala of the festival.
  • The pass holder can reserve only one place for a specific film screening at a specified time. Reservations for a movie screening can be made from 7:30 on the day preceding the selected screening, but no later than 15 minutes before the screening, except for the first day of the Festival, for which seat booking begins on Monday, September 16 at 7.30.
  • The pass holder can book a place for one film screening in a given time interval (block of hours) on a given day. The hourly block is understood as sessions beginning at a time interval of not more than 30 minutes (e.g. 9:45, 10:00 and 10:15).
  • The pass will contain a bar code. A constant service will be available in front of each room with readers enabling identification and verification of reservations.
  • Failure to cancel the reservation up to 15 minutes before the beginning of the screening and not to participate in the film screening will result in deduction of 4 points from the pass.

  • Please do not be late for screenings.


Along with the announcement of a detailed schedule of festival screenings, on September 5, 2019, tickets for single screenings will go on sale.

The price of a normal ticket will be PLN 22, and a reduced price ticket PLN 18. In the case of the Short Film Competition, a ticket for one film block will cost PLN 15. Promotional tickets for organized groups (companies and institutions) will also be available for PLN 15 per person, and for school groups with a guardian – PLN 12 per person.
