American cardiac surgeon Richard Walker arrives with his wife in Paris to participate in a medical conference, but the woman suddenly disappears from a hotel room. The authorities are less than helpful, concluding that Richard has been abandoned. The man desperately starts his own investigation.

Eighteenth-century reclusive priory in the Smolensk Region. Local nuns and Joan, their prioress, are afflicted with demonic possession. A young exorcist, Father Suryn, arrives and attempts to save the nuns but to no avail. Soon, he struggles with spiritual dilemmas and feelings developed for Mother Joan. He promises to heal the nun even at the cost of eternal damnation. The film is inspired by a short story by Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz.

Stopped short at the border, he’s certain there is only one person capable of such atrocity – his ex-wife, Irena. The woman tries to slow him down so she can get to the British capital first and clear out the joint account they opened years ago in a London bank.

Kazek and Bogdan, two boys from a small town near Lodz, carry out an armed robbery of a taxi driver. All they steal is fifty zlotys. During their next job, they kill a carpenter, steal his money and take a gold ring off of the hand of the dead man’s wife. But they reach the end of their tether. Friends in town start to realise how serious things have got.
