Artur Żmijewski

Born in 1966 in Radzymin. Graduate from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw (1990). Actor of Warsaw theatres: Teatr Współczesny (1989-91), Teatr Ateneum (1991-92) and currently Teatr Narodowy. In films since 1984. Winner of the Zbigniew Cybulski Award (1992), the Telekamera Award given by the readers of “Tele Tydzień” magazine (2001, 2002, 2003) and the “Telemaska” Award for the best Polish TV Theatre actor in the season 2001/2002. Starred in films directed by Tadeusz Konwicki, Krzysztof Zanussi, Wojciech Marczewski, Władysław Pasikowski, Feliks Falk and Wojciech Wójcik. Extremely popular and admired for his role of Jakub Burski MD in the TV series “Na dobre i na złe”.
