Grzegorz Królikiewicz passed away
It was with deep sorrow that we received information about the death of Grzegorz Królikiewicz, a director, screenwriter, teacher and film arts professor. The artist was supposed to be a special guest of the 42nd Polish Film Festival. On 21st September 2017, before the screening of the film “Through & Through”, there was a minute of silence to pay tribute to the memory of the Director.
Thursday, 21st September. The fourth day of the 42nd PFF
The films “Be Prepared” directed by Robert Gliński, "The Best” directed by Łukasz Palkowski and “Silent Night” directed by Piotr Domalewski – the Thursday programme of the 42nd Polish Film Festival in Gdynia envisages three premiere screenings in the Main Competition. On account of huge interest of the viewers, we invite to an additional screening, as part of the Special Screenings – In Memoriam section, of the film “Młynarski – the final song” directed by Alicja Albrecht. Repeated screening. “The Man with the Magic Box”
We inform that for technical reasons, the Tuesday screening of the film "The Man with the Magic Box” directed by Bodo Kox has been cancelled (from 7.00 pm) and will be repeated on Thursday, 21st September, at 5.45 pm in screening room 6 in Multikino. Wednesday, 20th September. The third day of the 42nd PFF
On the third day of the 42nd Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, screenings in the Short Film Competition start. The viewers will see 26 films, ordered in six screening blocks. All the Wednesday screenings in this Competition are held on the New Stage of the Musical Theatre.
