School Film Archive at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia
National Film Archive – Audiovisual Institute (FINA) has prepared a
number of educational attractions accompanying the 43rd Polish Film
Festival in Gdynia. The abounding programme, prepared with teenagers in
mind, includes debates about films, lectures held by appreciated film
specialists, as well as workshops preparing for School Contest on
Knowledge of Film and Mass Communication!

The 43rd PFF would be incomplete without classes of the School Film
Archive prepared especially for teenage students. The programme entails,
among other things, film debates Criticise!, lectures based on the
festival films, film reportage classes School Film Archive Studio, Film
City Game, training for the 3rd edition of the School Contest on
Knowledge of Film and Mass Communication and curator tours of festival
exhibitions. All that for the students of primary schools and older.

Film Centre! School Film Archive is a programme of the National Film
Archive – Audiovisual Institute launched in co-operation with the Polish
Film Institute. The website www.filmotekaszkolna. pl provides access to
over a hundred films and teaching aids such as lesson scripts,
brochures, lectures on Film Studies and analyses of scenes. Teachers who
want to develop competence in film education participate in classes led
nationwide by Leaders of the School Film Archive and Wandering School
Film Archive Film Experts.
