Selection Board and Qualification Board of the 42nd Polish Film Festival in Gdynia

We already know the composition of the Selection Board of the 42nd Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, which will recommend films for the Main Competition and the Visions Apart Competition. A separate Qualification Board will select films to take part in the Short Film Competition.

The Selection Board which will recommend films for the Main Competition and the Visions Apart Competition will be composed of the filmmakers: Leszek Dawid, Piotr Dumała, Arkadiusz Gołębiewski, Jacek Petrycki, Maciej Pieprzyca and Agnieszka Smoczyńska.

Films for the Short Film Competition will be selected by the Qualification Board, which will be composed of: Maciej Dominiak (Short Film Competition Co-ordinator), Julia Ruszkiewicz (a representative of the Circle of Young Polish Filmmakers Association) i Anna Wróblewska (PFF Spokesperson).

The composition of both Boards has been approved by the Organizing Committee at the seating held on 9th May 2017. Detailed principles of the selection of films for all the competitions at the PFF are set out in the Rules and Regulations available at the website: www.festiwalgdynia.pl, in the Industry tab.

Let us remind that film submissions for the Main Competition and the Visions Apart Competition are accepted until 31st May 2017. The deadline for submitting films for the Short Film Competition passed on 15th May 2017.

The 42nd Polish Film Festival in Gdynia will be held from 18th to 23rd September 2017.
