Saturday, 23rd September. The last day of the 42nd PFF

Before we get to know the verdict of the 42nd Polish Film Festival, you can still catch up on your film impressions. In the screening rooms of Multikino, on the New Stage of the Musical Theatre and in the Gdynia Film Centre, screenings of all the 17 films from the Main Competition have been planned for Saturday.

The last premiere of the 42nd Polish Film Festival's Main Competition is ahead of us. The film "Beyond Words" by Urszula Antoniak is one of the three press screenings which have been planned for 22nd September 2017. Apart from that, there will be presentations of "Spoor" by Agnieszka Holland and "The Art of Loving. Story of Michalina Wisłocka" by Maria Sadowska.

Grzegorz Królikiewicz passed away

It was with deep sorrow that we received information about the death of Grzegorz Królikiewicz, a director, screenwriter, teacher and film arts professor. The artist was supposed to be a special guest of the 42nd Polish Film Festival. On 21st September 2017, before the screening of the film “Through & Through”, there was a minute of silence to pay tribute to the memory of the Director.

The films “Be Prepared” directed by Robert Gliński, "The Best” directed by Łukasz Palkowski and “Silent Night” directed by Piotr Domalewski – the Thursday programme of the 42nd Polish Film Festival in Gdynia envisages three premiere screenings in the Main Competition.
