Another day of film emotions awaits us. The Gdynia audience will for the first time see “Ether” directed by Krzysztof Zanussi and “Playing Hard” by Kinga Dębska, participating in the Main Competition.

In relation to the popularity of "Clergy" directed by Wojciech Smarzowski, the organizers inform that in agreement with the producer, PROFIL FILM, and the distributor, Kino Świat, an additional screening of the film has been planned.
The 10th anniversary of Regional Film Funds
Due to the 10th anniversary of Regional Film Funds in Poland, the Polish Audiovisual Producers Chamber of Commerce and, operating within it, Regional Film Funds, which bring together all Polish film funds, invite to a jubilee cocktail during the Festival in Gdynia, which will take place at 1:00 p.m. in Gdynia Mercure Centrum (Omega room). This invitations is extended to everyone who possesses festival industry accreditation.
“Profile of a participant of the film festival” study
During the 43rd Polish Film Festival (PFF) a research project entitled”Profile of a participant of the film festival” has been initiated. It is a joint venture of the Pomeranian Film Foundation and the Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

The premiere screenings of three films from the Main Competition open the program on the third day of the Festival. On Wednesday, September 19th, 2018 the audience will see: “Krew Boga" (The Mute) directed by Bartosz Konopka, "Wilkołak" (Werewolf) by Adrian Panek and "7 uczuć" (7 emotions) by Marek Koterski. Press screenings of these pictures will be held at 9:00 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. respectively in the Warsaw screening room of the Gdynia Film Centre. The premiere screenings of films from the Main Competition – „Clergy” directed by Wojciech Smarzowski and „Pardon” by Jan Jakub Krolski – belong to the expected events of the second day of the 43rd Polish Film Festival. Press screenings in Warszawa screening room of the Gdynia Film Centre begin again at 9.00 AM. On Tuesday, they begin with “Cold War” by Paweł Pawlikowski.
