Munk for a Star(t)! – from short films to Golden Lions
Munk for a Star (t)! is the title of a special screening of four selected films from the “30 Minutes” Programme held by the Munk Studio operating at the Polish Filmmakers Association. The participants of the first editions of the Programme and the protagonists of the review: Bartosz Konopka, Borys Lankosz, Maria Sadowska and Agnieszka Smoczyńska, after a decade that has passed since the premiere of theit short films, today belong to the most important directors of the mid generation.
Polonica at the 42nd PFF, that is, Polish filmmakers in the world
As many as seven selected films, international co-productions with large Polish artistic participation, will be presented at this year’s Polonica section at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.

Loving Vincent as the opening film of the 42nd PFF. 70 years of the Polish animation in Gdynia
On 18th September 2017, the screening of the animated film “Loving Vincent”, qualified for the Main Competition, will open the 42nd Polish Film Festival. This way, the organizers want to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Polish animation. The Festival viewers will be able to watch a set of several outstanding animated films.

We know the selection results for the Main Competition and the Visions Apart Competition of the 42nd Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Seventeen films have been qualified for the Main Competition of the 42nd PFF. They will compete over the Golden Lions and other statutory and non-statutory awards. On 14th July 2017, at 12:00, the sale of accreditation for the 42nd Polish Film Festival starts. The price of all the three kinds of accreditation – industry, media and observer’s – is the same and amounts to PLN 290.
